A bit about Kate

Kate works as an arts educator leading workshops in the visual arts and graphic design.

As a practicing freelance graphic designer, with many years experience and a master's degree in International Design and Communication Management, Kate's can lead sessions from KS1 to HE: design practice and theory, intellectual property law, cross-cultural marketing, Adobe Creative Suite software and professional practice. Kate has taught graphic design elements of the 14–19 Creative & Media Diploma, Art and Design & Technology part time to key stage 3 students, and QuarkXpress desktop publishing software to adults.

Within community arts Kate has organised public events and exhibitions, written cross curricular learning programmes for schools and organised an internation exchange project.

Kate is a bronze and silver Arts Award advisor.
